1/17/2024 0 Comments Fenty concealer 100 swatch![]() ![]() ![]() I feel like you get a lot of control with how much you apply. 150 is perfect for this because it brightens my under eyes but also matches my complexion for spot/redness concealing too. I have started to realise that I am not a huge fan of a super bright under eye on me and prefer a ever-so slight level of brightness. I am so glad I got matched in person because there was a lot of choice with undertone and the shades on the fair end of the spectrum were so light. I was matched to the shade 150 in the Pro Filt’r Concealer which is Light with Neutral Undertones. I just so happened to be in London recently and decided to get matched to the concealer in person since 50 shades is a lot to choose from and I wanted to get the right undertone. I have only tried their original Gloss Bomb but their concealer and powder really got my attention. I feel really good about supporting a brand that has plenty of options for skin tones at both ends of the spectrum, and this foundation definitely exceeded my expectations. As soon as my No-Buy January was over, I knew one the first things I’d purchase would be the new Fenty Beauty products. I also really love that it's not as expensive as my NARS foundations. In the future it would be cool if they released a super-pale extra yellow shade as well, but this definitely works for now.Īll-in-all I'd say I really like this foundation! I can definitely see it becoming one of my long-term favorites right up there with Sheer Glow. I feel like only a true "foundation undertone nerd" like me would notice this at all, lol. My only complaint is I wish it was a tiiiiiny bit more yellow, but it's not a big deal at all. Here are a few photos in various lighting: It feels somewhat lighter and less drying. But I prefer the Fenty formula and would say that if anything it's more like an "improved" version of KVD Lock-It, if that makes sense. It actually reminds me a lot of the Kat von D Lock-It foundations. I have chronic issues with foundation breaking up on my nose (Sheer Glow is horrible for this) but this actually held through for around 6 hours and didn't look weird on my nose at all! Some foundations start to break up on me after about 4 hours, but this didn't happen with Fenty Pro Filt'r. It wore well for 8 hours, and I didn't have any issues with oil breaking through. ![]() It might not be the best choice for someone who has a lot of textured spots on their face. However, I did notice that it emphasized texture very slightly on one area of my face where I have some little bumps. I used moisturizer as well as Hangover primer under it. It didn't cling to any of my dry patches either. I personally didn't find it to be drying at all. Some people were complaining that this foundation is drying. I'm not the type of person who "notices" foundation most of the time or feels bothered by the feel of it on my face, but I'd say Fenty felt especially weightless and I completely forgot I was wearing it for the most part. The foundation didn't feel heavy in the slightest. My main skin concern is redness all over my face, and Fenty Pro Filt'r did a great job at keeping it hidden it all day. It's described as "soft matte" on the box, and I think that's a great way to put it. I really like the finish of this foundation. But it settled in nicely and dried to the "right" shade within 5 minutes. When I was first putting it on it was at least a shade lighter than I expected, and I thought it was going to be too light. It definitely dries down to a darker shade. I used a beauty blender to apply the foundation, and I also used Too Faced Hangover Primer. Fenty 100 also seems the slightest bit lighter. It's a bit more pink-toned, but not enough to be a dealbreaker for me. I normally wear NARS Sheer Glow in the shade Siberia, and I'd say Fenty 100 is a pretty decent match. I was excited about this foundation because it had an awesome shade range from day one. I finally got my hands on the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r foundation in shade 100 and I wanted to share my first impressions.
